Welcome to RIVF 2007
The 5th International Conference on Research, Innovation and Vision for the Future (RIVF'07), will take place at Hanoi University of Technology, Viet Nam, from March 05 to 09, 2007, under the co-sponsorship of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Region 10, the EUROCONTROL Joint Research Laboratory CSMC, the Groupe des Ecoles des Télécommunications (GET & ENST) of France, Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training and Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology. Information and Communication Technologies are the highlights of RIVF'07.

As a matter of fact, Information Technology has enabled an expanding digital world radically linked not only to human societal progress but also our ways of thinking, perceiving, and behaving. In the same manner, new technologies for mobile communication, massively distributed collaboration, real-time information processing and sharing, etc will ultimately impact human interactions.
Advances in the multi-faceted fields of the rapidly moving world of information and communication sciences & technology need to be disseminated and discussed early. RIVF'07 attempts to provide an interactive, professional, and friendly forum for sharing results of research, and progress made towards future innovative applications of information and communication sciences & technologies.
Another objective of the RIVF series has been to encourage scientific research in Vietnam and in the Asia-Pacific Region therefore RIVF'07 will take place in the romantic city of Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, specifically on the campus of the historical Hanoi University of Technology (HUT). RIVF'07 will be organized into one-day Tutorial Sessions, plus a one-day Student Symposium, and three days of oral communications and discussions.
